I have stayed at the Acuario Sol Apartments they are called 1 and 2, I've been using these apartments on a number of visits to Lanzarote. We first used them when they were finishing off the refurbishment and have been back quite a few times since at different times of the year, April, June, July, Nov and have booked to go back again in December. The staff are so friendly who work at the Apartments we always use Acuario Sol 2 as we ask for a pool view and it also has a pool bar.
The reception is at Acuario Sol 1, so on arrival you hand over your passport and confirmation, the receptionist photocopies the passport and you are asked to sign it. They then know who is staying in the apartments for security reasons. You can hire a safe, a Tv remote and a spare key for the duration of your stay which we do. The complex has a key and keypad on the gate to enter the complex. Also CCTV cams all around the complex for added security.
The apartments, the complex, the pool, the pool bar, the restaurant also its toilets and around the pool are spotlessly clean.The apartments have a life guard on duty from 10.00-18.30, a male or female who are both Spanish but speak and understand perfect English and are very friendly (there are signs and rules in place when using the pool also) for safety! Each morning the Life Guard unchains the vast amount of brand new sun loungers at 10.00am, so no silly problems with guests getting up at sun rise to put their towels on the loungers.
The Apartments are in 3 stories high, top, middle and ground. We have stayed on all floors, also we have stayed in a one bedroom and 2 bedroom self-catering apartment which are well equipped. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, hob, pots, pans, plates etc etc, everything that's needed (no microwave). Some guests moan about, but hey you're on holiday and there is a pool bar that serves food all day and it's cheap enough to eat out!
In the apartment you have a tiled bathroom, a toilet, a bath with shower and a sink with a large mirror above, also a hair dryer, 2 single beds or 4 single beds depending what apartments you choose, a nice lounge with comfortable seating, TV, units, cupboards, a coffee table, a breakfast bar. In the bedrooms there are wardrobes, bedside tables with table lamps and a dressing table with cupboards and drawers with a mirror above. Decor very nice also, towels changed every day, maids in cleaning every day, bins emptied every day, bedding every 2 or 3 days. Perfect. The complex was well maintained at all times and if there was a problem it would be dealt with asap. The Wi-Fi signal was not very good so only tried it on one visit. Apart from that the Staff and the apartments are excellent for families, couples, singles or groups but don't cause trouble or be rowdy or you're not welcome which is great!
