May 2016 Highlights
Jupiter moving into direct motion after having been retrograde since the beginning of the year will be a boon to us all I hope. Obviously not everything associated with any given energy is explicitly positive or negative for everyone involved, but if there is a planet with exceptional energy for good, it is Jupiter. Even if sometimes that good manifests as a loss that will clear the path for new options and opportunities. Any loss associated with Jupiter is usually a release from suffering, so even there he is more kind than most.
Your ruler, Saturn, is a difficult one Capricorn, but he is more kind to you than anyone. He makes you stronger than the rest of us too. This month we will see the tail end of a very difficult aspect that has been with us on and off for a couple of years and by mid-summer it will be gone and wont return until 2024, which is certainly good news.
Jupiter is sitting very high in your solar chart so has a great deal more influence than Saturn, which is sitting in the weakest house placement, though happily, along with Venus. Therefore this month should be rather pleasant for you with meetings involving people who have a special place in your heart or are in some other way noteworthy.

2016 Horoscope
You have definitely got some focus this year, and it appears to be on your community, communication skills, network of people and the groups you belong to and friendships. If you arent a community organizer you really should be. This is a wonderful year for you to do something forth good of a lot of people. If you dont have that kind of power, or are younger, then look for some altruistic group and dive in and do the best you can.
You still have all the power you had last year Goats, with the sun and Pluto conjunct. And the responsibility. Of anyone in the zodiac you got this Goat. You are made sturdy so you can scale mountaintops. You have horns so you can butter the jerk out of the world. You are the sign of the executive. Dont waste this small gift.
I know a lot of younger people read me, mostly by accident because astrology seems kind of mystical and weird. Astrology takes about 50 lifetimes to even begin to study. And you really need a profession if you want to live well so this is at most a sideline hobby. At least if you are any good at it and do it in the spirit it was intended. As a general guideline, not the rulebook of life. Get your rules from a Higher Power.
I say this because it is imperative for me to elucidate the fact that astrologers DO NOT worship the stars. Those who do are stupid because after all, they are just rocks. Therefore, if this subject interests you, go to college. Go to trade school or culinary or art school. Astrology can be a lifetime hobby but I dont see it as a profession. Others do. To each his or her own.
You could experience some pretty intense moments in discussions with others in any group or gang in which you belong. In the case of the latter, and if you are dealing with lethal individuals as in the case of a real gang, try to keep a low profile. Do what you can to slowly slink your way out, even if there is someone still inside you love. Some people actually live in very dangerous environments every single day of their lives, which are usually short. If you are already enmeshed in the whole blood in, blood out thing, then do your best to be invisible and indispensable.
Financially you can earn a few extra bucks in a lot of different ways. Running errands for other people or doing some simple, albeit menial tasks for the elderly or otherwise incapacitated is likely a great idea for some extra spending money, and we certainly need people to assist others in this way, even though it seem so simple.
You can find a job with a very large conglomerate now, perhaps a hospital system or other place with a large campus type atmosphere.
2015 Yearly Highlights
The New Year offers us all a different tune to dance to than that of the year before, consequently offering us an opportunity to make changes in our lives. The first solar chart change happens in the 1st house for you Cappy. Venus, the planet of charm and social niceties, will vacate your personal house, likely meaning that you need to quit being so, well, nice. If you are a leader of others this is especially true. Pluto is still in your 1st house, as is Mercury, the planet of intellect, networking and communication. Therefore, it is probable that if you are going to lead your people to success you need to work smarter and be more focused on your goals. Socializing to make money is not a good business plan.
You will have added incentive to make money this year and there may be a specific investment you desire which adds drive to your endeavors. Be on the lookout for innovative types who can enliven your ideas and bring antiquated business practices into the 21st century. Overtly aggressive methods will also work, but are not necessarily the best option as these can also cause you some very big problems in other areas.
The emotional moon has moved houses in your solar chart into you partnership house. This can make you closer to your spouse, business partner and best friend, which is a very lovely thing. However, it can also indicate emotions which are not controlled. This can be good or bad, but in your case, I think this is good. Being the stoic Goat that you are, a little warm fuzzy might be a nice change. However, it does appear that some of your emotive feelings may come in the form of jealousy, envy or possessiveness for a partner, or visa versa, though it looks more like you. Dont try and control others or use emotional manipulation. Definitely dont freak out and have a jealous fit. People either want to be with you or dont. If they dont, realize they arent worth your effort and move on, youll save a lot of time (and avoid looking like a loser).
Jupiter is helping you out a lot by giving you a huge boost in your charismatic and power sector. Which is fantastic for getting what you want, so the above mentioned possibilities are lessened somewhat, but made worse in that this increase in energy also rules bat crap maniacal types. On a mundane level you may need to start saving for next years tax bill. If you manage the finances for someone else, they may have an excess in fluid resources which need to be invested. I would strongly suggest they take the lead in this and you defer from offering financial advice to them unless that is your fundamental capacity.
The fates are beckoning to you from the uppermost sector of your solar chart and you could receive a job offer from a source you were not expecting or that will take you far away from your comfort zone. Take it. The Universe wants you to see the world from a different vantage point. You can ignore this call, to your own detriment. Falling back on what is easy is an anathema to you cosmically speaking. You need to try something different. If you havent had a job you would consider a career you definitely need to consider finding one, even if this means getting further training.
Finally, Saturn, your ruler, has taken up residence in the most secretive and hidden area of your chart. Saturn is immensely kinder to you that he is to the rest of us, so this isnt likely anything to be afraid of, other than it could mean you need to spend some time in a hospital taking care of some age related health issue. If you arent oldish, then you are probably fine and if it manifests as something to do with a hospital it will be that you need to visit an older relative who is sick.
While Saturn is taking a bit of a siesta, you may want to take some time off from life and do something introspective or find some time to revisit an old dream. Remember, you are NEVER too old, or too young to pursue those things for which you have secretly hoped. You have the north node signaling that you may be able to accomplish a goal you never thought possible. Start out quietly, find out who can help you attain it and what training you may need to pursue it, then make a plan to do it. Nothing is stopping you, no one will thwart you unless you let them. Get out there and make yourself happy!
2014 Yearly Horoscope
Well, my dearest Goats. I have good news and bad news. The bad news is Pluto is still dogging your solar sun, even more closely than last year. You are flirting with some extreme power here, and for the most part you are handling it well. The good news is that you will have it a bit easier this year as the planet of intellect and the planet of happiness are joining your entourage. Well, that is if you dont scare them off. Pluto is the planet who invented the word cool (as well as kidnapper, mobster, stalker and spy). Try cool, I think it will go over better and keep you out of jail.
The other great thing is that you will have increased attracting ability. Venus and Mercury are conjunct, so if you are a poet, get to writing. If you are making people swoon with all your sweet words, make sure you mean them. You can do very well in leadership positions and utilize all these energies by being a diplomat or mediator.
There is a further indicator of an ease in wordsmithing in your house of communications, so if you do have any kind of writing ability you should probably work on it. Even if you dont think you have any talent, you should put your thoughts down anyway, it can be cathartic.
The energy of faith, gentleness and idealism is paired up with an asteroid, called Chiron, who is the patron saint of gifted and intuitive teachers and healers who tend to refuse to play by the rules and enjoy blazing new trails. This energy isnt yours alone, we all get a piece of it in one way or another. Of course, there is a less positive side to it (as there is with all energies) which includes such things as con artists claiming to have a new teaching method or healing technique. There are a number of icky possibilities, including people pretending to be hurt or disabled and using it to gain sympathy or some other ulterior motive. Be especially wary of people you meet at church or at some community event. This energy can bring some of the most uplifting and heartwarming experiences, or it can crawl around in the gutter with the snipes.
The added indulgence in your solar chart is that the moon is involved in this, so you need look no further than your own home for any of the above mentioned items. This can bring someone very intuitive or nurturing into your sphere. The kind of person who can take one look at you and know you need a pot of chamomile tea and some alone time. Or maybe your brother will show up on your doorstep swearing you only have to watch their four delinquents for a week and after a month you have to file a missing persons report and find him holed up in a crack den romancing five prostitutes. Obviously there are vast variations on this theme. I hope yours are of the former type and not the later.
Part of the reason I worry for the changes in your family unit have to do with the fact you have Uranus in your family house, which signals some very surprising changes. You might move someplace suddenly or to somewhere very different from where you have ever lived. You could see your children leave the nest or you could find out you are going to be a parent. Aging parents may also cause some unexpected moments, from getting in an altercation in a public place to driving their car up a tree because they didnt see it there. Be patient with them. Remember, it is their world that is falling apart and in some cases they may not even fully understand it. If their mind is okay then their accident is likely just that, an accident. Even if they are a little slower than you remember, give them a break.
If you have a boy or man living with you there is a likelihood you may not get along very well this year. If it is a younger person it might be they are going through a rebellious stage. Be extra careful with regard to accidents around your home, you will be much more accident prone doing home improvement projects. When I had this configuration many years ago I kept cutting myself while chopping up things while cooking.
There is further indication that using an authoritarian or paternalistic attitude with kids around you will not work out well for you this year. A child might display some sort of latent talent and if you are harsh or dictate to them they will squelch it and you will be guilty of undermining anothers confidence or genius. That brings bad ju-ju on you eventually. Dont do that.
If you have a lost love, they might turn up on your doorstep now. If you are looking for a date, going someplace from you past might help you meet someone. All the things I am relaying to you in the last couple of paragraphs have to do with the south node in your solar 5th house. Do a quick internet search on this if you want to know more. Taken alone the south node is a little ghoulish, I dont like it and I like it less in this house. Keep your kids safe.
You do have greater benefic Jupiter in your house of marriage and best friends. This will go a long way towards bringing some good feelings into these relationships. If you are looking for a long term partner, this also can bring you several options. The only downside to this is that if you are a great catch, especially financially, and lets face it, almost all Capricorns are, especially the women. You might have a bunch of opportunistic types sniffing around you. If they ask about your investments, give them the boot.
Happy and joyful tidings come from universities, religious organizations, your in-laws, overseas travel, foreigners, influential types and international business. You might have a few laughs with some of these folks or you could make a quick little profit.
The competition is heating up in your career sector. If you dont work in an overly competitive field then it will play out with people that you work with, especially bosses, being rather testy. If you are the boss, you probably need to mellow out a little. Refer to the first couple of paragraphs. The consequences of your actions regarding the misuse of power are something you want to avoid this year. Plus, because of that energy in your family house creating chaos and making people crazy you might have someone go off on you if you get too uppity. I used to carry pepper spray and a knife. You should probably invest in some form of personal protection if you have a job of some prominence or work in places where you never know what you might encounter, which is like, everywhere.
If you dont belong to any charitable or humanitarian groups, you should join one. Especially one that includes people who are older. Friends from your past can be quite helpful. However, I dont think they will be much fun. And, you are likely to owe them something in the end if you ask favors. But doing something like Meals on Wheels would do you a lot of good and a lot of other people as well.
This year is one to remain practical and do what you can to make decisions that will be relevant for years to come. At no time should you tamp down your feelings either. You need to use them in all long term decisions. Being practical doesnt mean you dont take into consideration feelings, both yours and other peoples. This isnt going to be a light hearted kind of year for you, so take your fun where you can (remember that strangers, foreigners and even the clergy can offer you a great deal of humor when it is greatly needed). Finally, keep your temper in check, but under no circumstances allow others to walk on you. Your family can be your greatest blessing and you biggest curse this year. As can your ability to nurture others, or lack thereof.
The universe is asking that you use your intuition and you will find that you are much more psychic than usual. You will be rewarded with opportunities for emotional connections with people too. Again, I think you would greatly benefit by doing some charity work. You will receive a great deal more than you give, and these moments will be some of the best you have all year.
